Lauren’s place was stunning and was located a nice homestead with animals, a cute farm stand, and peace and quiet. The home was clean, comfortable, and beautiful and was outfitted with everything we could have needed! Was within 15 minutes of many RRG trail heads. Will definitely stay again when down in Red River Gorge.

I don’t know where to start! Lauren and her husband made this place absolutely gorgeous. It was very homey and peaceful. My husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary here and it didn’t disappoint. The bed was very comfortable, hot tub was a nice touch, and shower was awesome! Their dogs were adorable! They greeted us at our door in the morning and one acted like our tour guy when we went to see the donkey and goats. They were very friendly. ❤️ Lauren left us some eggs and they were so fresh and delicious to have for breakfast. There were a couple places we went for hiking at and those trials were breath taking.. it was nice to take in the nature. We will definitely be back! Next time we will bring the kiddos. Thank you so much! We enjoyed every second of this home.

A slice of heaven. Everything about this place is perfect. This is our second time staying in the barn house and it has exceeded our expectations both times! Lauren is such a wonderful host and makes sure you have EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more - we loved the goodies & farm fresh eggs!! Their property is so beautiful and serene & it’s growing! We can’t wait to try out some of their new cabins next time we visit! Thank you for sharing your space & animals (the best part) with us! Lauren was a spectacular host! We had a trailer with us and Lauren and her husband were so accommodating with it and even came to the cabin to help us get situated with it. The farm fresh eggs were such a nice gesture. The home was very clean and cozy. We look forward to staying here again!

My stepmom and dad loved this place for their anniversary! They made sure to tell me all the details after their stay, they were just so, so happy! Lauren was just so kind and accommodating!

My husband and I loved this little getaway. It was such a unique experience!!! Lauren was very friendly and attentive. The amenities were on point and the living space was so cozy!! We plan to visit again and will definitely visit The Barn Owl again. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

This was by far the most peaceful vacation I ever had. The photos are pretty but it’s even better in person. Lauren went above and beyond being a super host. Even before we arrived had everything we needed as to getting there and how to get into the place. The little things like having homemade baked fresh bread which tasted as good as it looked and farm fresh eggs. The animals on the property all had names showing how much this family loves them. Lauren gave the names to all the local places to eat which was only mins in driving which was great. The place was spotless and the smell of cedar throughout was awesome. Walking the property was pure peace and a sense of calming as you sat on the bench over looking the mountains. This place shows how much this family takes pride of wanting to share this wonderful experience. As for myself and my family we cannot wait to book again for a longer stay soon. Thank you for your vision and purpose it’s very much appreciated.

This was our second time visiting, and everything was amazing again! We had a little more time to explore the area, try a restaurant that Lauren recommended, got to visit more with the farm animals, and even got a sneak peak at their upcoming rental on the property (which was BEAUTIFUL) - everything about this place is unbeatable! Lauren and her family were so nice & accommodating. The cabin was stocked with everything we could need, it is always super clean, and obviously the location is amazing.

We are excited to come visit again & try out their new space, The Goldenrod!
