Our stay was absolutely perfect. The Barn looks even better in person. Lauren the host was always responsive and helpful with any question I had. There are fresh eggs and firewood for purchase just a short walk from the barn. The entire property is beautiful. The animals are great; you can feed the sheep treats! On our last day we woke up to find 2 beautiful white dogs outside our door. Oh, and the toilet seat is heated! This place will blow you away. Stay here. It’s also so close to everything. Great location.

Lauren and Derek’s place was absolutely perfect for a peaceful time away. The communication was amazing. The space was clean, beautiful, and spacious and getting to pet and feed the farm animals was a great added bonus! It was also a pleasure getting to meet Lauren and we enjoyed the friendly conversation. We will definitely be staying at The Barn Owl again!

Lauren and her family were so accommodating and the place was better than described! Her personalized touches upon arrival and within the barn were amazing. The property has unlimited things to explore. The petting zoo and outdoor area with swings were an added bonus! We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy getaway in Campton. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing weekend— great heating, a cozy electric fireplace, plenty of blankets, and a hot tub that was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The shower had great water pressure and had a great temperature. The kitchen was well-stocked and prepared with everything we needed to cook our meals.

We absolutely loved the beautiful nature views, and getting to watch the dogs roam and play around the property— it added such a unique, charming touch to our stay that we haven’t experienced before. Lauren was incredibly friendly, proactive, and personable, making sure we had everything we needed.

We can’t wait to come back when the weather is warmer to fully enjoy this beautiful place. Highly recommend for a peaceful and cozy getaway!

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. Lauren and Derek are great people and hosts, and they made us feel at home. From the welcome, to the information Lauren got for us, to the stay itself. Everything was great. We will definitely be returning!

Lauren’s place was stunning and was located a nice homestead with animals, a cute farm stand, and peace and quiet. The home was clean, comfortable, and beautiful and was outfitted with everything we could have needed! Was within 15 minutes of many RRG trail heads. Will definitely stay again when down in Red River Gorge.

I don’t know where to start! Lauren and her husband made this place absolutely gorgeous. It was very homey and peaceful. My husband and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary here and it didn’t disappoint. The bed was very comfortable, hot tub was a nice touch, and shower was awesome! Their dogs were adorable! They greeted us at our door in the morning and one acted like our tour guy when we went to see the donkey and goats. They were very friendly. ❤️ Lauren left us some eggs and they were so fresh and delicious to have for breakfast. There were a couple places we went for hiking at and those trials were breath taking.. it was nice to take in the nature. We will definitely be back! Next time we will bring the kiddos. Thank you so much! We enjoyed every second of this home.

A slice of heaven. Everything about this place is perfect. This is our second time staying in the barn house and it has exceeded our expectations both times! Lauren is such a wonderful host and makes sure you have EVERYTHING you could possibly need and more - we loved the goodies & farm fresh eggs!! Their property is so beautiful and serene & it’s growing! We can’t wait to try out some of their new cabins next time we visit! Thank you for sharing your space & animals (the best part) with us!
