About Our Homestead

Located in Campton, KY, near the Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone National Forest, Hooting Owl Homestead is your escape from it all.
Whether you plan on exploring, resting, or playing, our guests enjoy a peaceful, calm, and safe escape surrounded by natural beauty. Wake up to fresh farm eggs, listen to the birds sing, the water flow, and feel the fresh air. We are just moments away from the famous Miguel’s Pizza, all the best trails, restaurants, shopping, and adventure the area has to offer.

Established in 2018, Hooting Owl Homestead started with two lovebirds camping in a tent, imagining a plentiful garden, happy livestock, and a home built from hard work, dedication, and love. Over the years, we renovated our farmhouse, raised our family, and watched our dreams come true. Our homestead continues to grow and has been a blessing to our family. We are happy to share our land with you.
We invite you to stay in our renovated 60+-year-old barn, hide away at our cabin in the woods, visit the chickens, goats, and ducks, fish the day away, and enjoy the many trails on the homestead without ever having to leave. You’ll have access to all the amenities you need at your home away from home and will experience the best hospitality Kentucky has to offer.
